meet my "power skirt". men get entire suits, but all women need is one pencil skirt that brings out their best business-professional behavior. this outfit was worn for a client meeting, but i have brought out the skirt for several very successful interviews over the year. what makes it powerful is the mixture of my favorite things--stripes, lace and pockets. not to mention it was on sale at anthropologie and it was my size. the fates aligned and i couldn't resist. it also makes for a snazzy Half-Priced Books vinyl hunt outfit. this is a twenty-something's lunch hour at its finest--digging through old music until you find a Willie Nelson album. another win for the power skirt...
