inside outfit

:: dress :: top :: belt (old target) :: shoes (old urban) :: bag :: sunnies ::

though i don't always appreciate it, living in dallas does have its high points. most decent bands tend to tour here, we have the greatest state fair in the world, and there is always something new to check out in the art world. a friend of mine told me about this awesome art exhibition called inside out that travels around the country with a photo booth taking portraits of locals and pastes them to the sides of walls, sidewalks, stairs, and just about anything else. the project was designed to let people share their stories with the world. so far, more than 120,000 people from 108 countries have participated. you can read all about it here. it was really humbling (albeit bizarre) to see myself next to friends and strangers alike on the walls of a city i feel so close to. if you see my face on the side of a wall around town, feel free to draw a mustache on me. its art!
